VOLUNTEER WITH RUN IN THE DARK

Run in Dark is fuelled by the support and commitment of 600 volunteers around the globe who make it possible to operate 50 events on 4 continents on one night in November.

We require volunteers to help for 4 hours on the night of the event (Tuesday 14 November in Dublin, and Wednesday 15 November in all other locations), as well as event support volunteers in September and October.

Check out below for more information on the volunteer roles, and complete the volunteer form to get in touch with us about volunteering.

Being a volunteer at Run In The Dark was such an enjoyable experience. We all really loved being able to cheer everybody on and enjoy the atmosphere.

James, Dublin

Volunteering at Run in the Dark Dublin was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was imbued with a sense of positivity and fun. It felt like we were part of something very special. All runners and walkers were so upbeat and enthusiastic. It really was a highlight of my transition year experience.

Emma, Belfast

Run in the Dark Belfast was a wonderful event, well organised with a great turnout. There is something special about the night-time setting at Stormont. While I didn’t attempt to run there was a great sense of team as we stewarded and cheered on the runners. I would highly recommend this event.

Emma, London

Volunteering with Run in the Dark London was a memorable and rewarding experience, one I would love to be involved with again. Being involved in handing out the medals after the race allowed me to interact with many inspiring runners as they completed the course. Overall, it was a well organised event with excellent communication from the event organisers, with information shared clearly both before and during the event.
