Event: Toronto Run in the Dark – 10k and 5k run
Date: 14th November 2018
Every November, as darkness sweeps the globe, thousands of people from over 50 cities will pull on their running shoes and red flashing armbands and hit the streets to Run in the Dark.
Your $38 CAD donation will play a big part in helping the Mark Pollock Trust to reach its $750,000 CAD fundraising aim this year to fast-track a cure for paralysis, which will change the lives of millions of paralysed people around the world.
There are a limited number of places available so make sure to sign up early so you don’t miss out!
Toronto is very proud to be involved in the Run in the Dark and this year’s pop-up run will be championed by Aaron Williamson, who lives in Toronto.

The start and finish line will be located beside Lansdowne Brewery, on the corner of College and Lansdowne. The route will take in some city centre highlights, and then the 5km route will finish back at Lansdowne Brewery. Those wishing to complete 10km will do a longer loop through High Park.
After the race has finished all runners are encouraged to reunite at Lansdowne Brewery for the obligatory Irish night cap and of course to raise a toast to Mark. Jeremy, the owner of Lansdowne, will be hosting us, and Aaron will buy a round of drinks for the first 10 people to register.
Please aim to arrive at 19.30 (7.30pm) so that we can ensure everyone will receive their flashing arm cuff and have a group photo before we go running!
