As darkness sweeps around the globe every November, 25,000 people worldwide get up from their armchairs, slip on their red flashing armbands and pull on their running shoes to complete a 5k.
Connecting runners both physically and virtually across 4 continents, Run in the Dark is a global movement lighting up the night as people hit the road to walk or run 5k to help cure paralysis in our lifetime.
Pop-Up Events
Run in the Dark pop-ups are casual fun runs managed by our network of volunteers around the world. Pop-up events do not include road closures or chip timing.
Pop-Up participants can time their 5k using a third party app of their choosing (Strava, MapMyRun, Garmin Connect, etc.) and join the global leaderboard.with runners from 2,000 cities around the world.
Corporate Groups
Companies across the globe enter teams to Run in the Dark as a wellbeing, employee engagement, health & fitness, or sports & social initiative. A team leader prepays for minimum 5 entries, and group members complete the registration form to sign up.
