As darkness sweeps around the globe every November, 25,000 people worldwide get up from their armchairs, slip on their red flashing armbands and pull on their running shoes to complete a 5k or 10k.
In Dublin, 7,500 people will take over the city streets to run, for those who dream to walk.
Connecting runners both physically and virtually across 4 continents, Run in the Dark is a global movement lighting up the night as people hit the road to walk or run 5k or 10k to help cure paralysis in our lifetime.
Run in the Dark offers both 5k and 10k distance options; walkers are welcome to take part in 5k.
Dublin is one of six flagship Run in the Dark events. Flagship events are large-scale events with thousands of runners taking part in a 5k/10k, who receive an official chip time.
