About our Team Leaders
Niall Breslin is an award winning podcaster, bestselling author, musician and former GAA and Leinster rugby player. One of Ireland’s leading mental health advocates, Niall founded the mental health charity A Lust for Life.
Manal Rostom is a Dubai-based athlete from Alexandria, Egypt. She ran three international marathons including the Dubai Marathon and China Wall Marathon, as well as several local ones in her hometown in Egypt. Manal Rostom gained global attention when she became the first veiled Egyptian-Arab woman to be the face of Nike.
Unbroken by blindness in 1998, Mark became an adventure athlete competing in ultra- endurance races across deserts, mountains, and the polar ice caps including being the first blind person to race to the South Pole. He also won silver and bronze medals for rowing at the Commonwealth Games and set up a motivational speaking business. In 2010 a fall from a second story window left him paralysed. Mark now has a new expedition, this time to cure paralysis in our lifetime by exploring the intersection where humans and technology collide. Mark will be taking part in Run in the Dark in his Ekso Bionics robotic legs.
As one of Ireland’s most well known and loved broadcasters, Kathryn Thomas hosts one of Ireland’s highest rating TV programmes Operation Transformation on RTÉ One. Also a well- known fitness fanatic, Kathryn embarked on her latest adventure and set up her own business, Pure Results Bootcamp in 2015.
