RUN IN THE DARK CASTLEBAR

Join us in Castlebar on Wednesday 15th November, 2017 for a 5k or 10k run.

Your €25 donation will play a big part in helping the Mark Pollock Trust to reach its €500,000 fundraising aim this year to fast-track a cure for paralysis, which will change the lives of millions of paralysed people around the world.

There are a limited number of places available so make sure to sign up early so you don't miss out!

THE CHAMPION:

This year's Castlebar run will again be championed by Greg Barry and Castlebar Fit for Life.

THE ROUTE:

The run will follow last years route around the jewel in the crown of Castlebar that is Lough Lannagh. 
The run will start at the old diving board and will consist of 2.5 laps of the lake.

Registration for the event will also take place from 7.15pm on the night at the Tennis Club.
After the race has finished all runners are invited to Johnny McHales for post-run sociables to refuel.

FAQs answered: 

Your entry fee of €25 will be donated to the Mark Pollock Trust mission to find and connect people worldwide to fast-track a cure for paralysis.

You will receive  a run entry, Run in the Dark buff and flashing armband.

Refreshments will be distributed to all participants at the finish line.

Chip-timing is not in operation for our pop-up events.

It is important that you arrive 15 minutes in advance of the start time (8pm) so that you can receive your buff and flashing armband.

A group photo will be taken with all participants in advance of the run.
